Sherreece "Where Is The Love"
WSVNRadio has been asking all musicians to send us their music, to be played
on our internet radio station, and their albums would be used for future reviews.
The first album from this series of musicians is Sherreece -- Where Is The
Love, an album that was sent to us by Wayne R. Rogaczewski of the
mp3 College Radio Network. Mr. Rogaczewski also sent us 8 other artists' for
our station.
Where Is The Love features 5 different versions of a song entitled
Where Is The Love. The first track (the original) has a new age jazz
sound, that could fit most New Age radio station playlists. Since Sherreece is
known as an Trance/Electronic artist, the remaining versions have the electronic
sound.
The Droid Alternative version (track 2) is a bit more upbeat than
the original, and a bit more moodier than New Age music, yet track 3, Droid's
Dance Remix is a great track for the electronic dance clubs, having a fast
beat, and energetic sound. (NOTE: The Droid's Dance Remix will be
featured on an upcoming CD from WSVNRadio: The WSVNRadio Hall of Fame,
Volume 2, to be released in early 2003.)
The Contemporary Remix is as upbeat as the Droid's Alternative
(track 2), and has a very pleasnt medium-tempo beat. For fellow keyboardists
as myself, they synthesizer keys are quite impressive on this version.
The last track, the TRACKX Trance Remix is another great club mix,
as energetic and exciting as the Droid's Dance Remix. And again, listen
to the synthesizer/piano keys and keyboard strings -- very very impressive as
well.
Where Is The Love by Sherreece is an excellent look at today's
Electronic music. Actually, Electronic Music has been around for years.
Most famous heard in music clubs, most radio stations do not feature
Electronic music as others. Yet WSVNRadio does, as we feature "Everything in
Music..." No matter what music it is, WSVNRadio satisfies each musical craving.
And with many artists from the Electronic Music genre, there will be much more
to come.
