    "I Am"

This week,we look at another artist who was from The WSVNRadio Hall Of Fame - From Volume 12. "God Only Know" was selected for that volume. Wade Richardson is a Country singer. And his Country is GOOD COUNTRY.

Leading off the album is the Country/Rock tune, "Can You Feel." It's definitely Country, and a good tune to start the album. "God Only Knows" is even better - it's a beautiful Country sounding tune. The title track "I Am" is next, and it's another (good) ballad-type song (as "God Only Knows" is). Upbeat Country gets the next tune, "Luckiest Man." It has a common Country sound, and it's a good Country sound. "Holly's Prayer" is another ballad-type song, and yes, it's another good Country tune.

"Three Little Words" is another song that is just Superb Country. This song along with "God Only Knows" are THE best tunes. And the ballad-type tunes continues, as "Edie + Me = Love" is another great Country ballad-type song. "She's Looking At Me" kicks it up a notch, and it's another good upbeat country song. "Lovers Moon" is a Country rocker, and you just had to wait, for one of that type of Country/Rock song to emerge. "I Got Lost" returns (again) as a softer Country sound. Yes, another (good) ballad-type song. And ending the album is yet another great ballad-type'r, "Missing You."

wade Richardson presents a very good Country sound, and always provides a good Country vocal voice. The ballad-type songs are the standouts. And the two of those songs mentioned - "God Only Knows" and "Three Little Words" should be included on Country playlists. (Even on today's Country playlists/stations.) This is the good Country that was still being recorded in the early 2000 decade. His name may not be recognized, but it should be. wSVNRadio is proud to have promoted him for our Hall Of Fame series.
