If you're looking for the most relaxing, exciting, comforting music, Chip Davis' music is what you really want. Davis' musical legacy is known as Mannheim Steamroller. Some classify the music as Classica, New Age. All in all, it is just simply -- beautiful. The Fresh Aire series is most likely for anyone who would want to journey themselves into this music. Likewise, they have released exceptional Christmas albums, throughout their existence, going on now for forty years.

As we travel into another Fresh Aire set, we look at their third journey. Released in 1979, it's a continuing look at how great, beautiful music is conceived. On Fresh Aire III, there is practically every kind of good music here. Upbeat, exciting, peaceful, relaxing, comforting. It's all here.

It begins with the exciting "Toccata." It certainly grabs your attention, and can even be used during a physical workout session. Then there's some peaceful music to wind yourself down, on the next two tracks: The relaxing "Small Wooden Bach'ses," and there's some nice piano music on "Amber."

A good mix of World Music, and even Progressive Rock gets the next track, "Mere Image." This track is definitely one of the impressive ones. A nice, laid back Rock style, and easy to listen to, gets "Morning." (Surely, a nice relaxing music to wake up by.) Likewise, the peaceful piano music of "Interlude 6."

Then the music gets jumping, just as the title character does, "The Cricket." And just as a beautiful peaceful sky, the next track, "The Sky," is another peaceful track. The album ends on an upbeat Rock style, "Midnight On A Full Moon."

There's everything here... Fresh Aire III keeps the momentum of great music, only Mannheim Steamroller can provide. The Fresh Aire III theme is Summer, and each track does have a warm summer feeling. Having each of it's volume in this series is worth it. (There were eight, to my knowledge.) More reviews of this series will emerge here. (Our other reviews were Fresh Aire II and Fresh Aire 8.)

As mentioned, for good quality music, good relaxing music, invest in the Mannheim Steamroller. The Fresh Aire Series is a great start.
